Accuracy matters
If your accuracy is under 95 percent, slow down slightly. Errors are subtracted from net WPM, so a slower run with few mistakes often scores higher than a fast messy one.
Corrected mistakes
If you fix a mistake with Backspace before the time ends, it no longer counts as an error. Accuracy compares each typed character with the passage at the same position.
